Between Homes is an unpublished picture book for children aged 7–11 and for adults who have experienced family separation, created as part of my Master’s at the University of Brighton.
The story begins with a child traveling from one parent’s house to the other. Upon arrival, they step through the door and enter an imaginative world that reflects their emotional landscape.
Text written from the parents’ perspectives accompanies the story, helping the child navigate their emotions and gradually find comfort within themselves.
